DO NOT BUY Gillmore garden hoses. I bought mine at Home Depot, since then, they have discontinued selling Gillmore hoses there. Words fit for PG rating cannot express the rage I feel at Gillmore hoses. They are made of substandard material. They kink easier then my other hose. Once has become stuck on one of my fawcets. They are more difficult to roll up. They both leak at connections to fawcets, other hoses, and garden equipment like sprayers and sprinklers. I promise you can buy a better hose. If I still had the receipt, I would bring both hoses back to Home Depot, except for the one that is now permanantly attached to a fawcet. I would very much like to send the bill to remove that hose to Gillmore.

I ordered this hose because of the 2-3 inch heavy duty collar at the end, shown in the picture. The hose that arrived had the correct item number, but had just a regular brass hose end.
I thought I was ordering something heavy duty, now it seems just like a regular hose.

Don’t know about you but I would rather mess with a few short hoses than one great big long one.
They don’t kink as bad and just more pleasant to deal with all around.
Flexogen imo is the best one out there. I don’t want to kill it.

Product is an extremely durable large diameter garden hose. Fittings are brass and more robust than found on cheaper hoses. Gilmour products are generally of very high quality, although I found the hose extender that I bought at the same time as this hose, to be disappointing.

Gilmour 8 ply Flexogen Hose 3/4-Inch-by-50-Foot #10-34050.
This is an excellent flexible hose with a large diameter for maximum flow for a pump used for riding basement flooding. This meets the pump specification for hose size required for flow. 1/2″ and 5/8″ are the normal size used for outside home watering. This is a hard to find size.
